Join us for the next Business Women’s Social at the Dayton Woman’s Club, a relaxed quarterly gathering created for women to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships across industries, career stages, and our broader Dayton community.
Set within the Dayton Woman’s Club’s beautiful historic clubhouse, the evening offers an easygoing alternative to traditional networking. There are no presentations and no formal agenda, just time to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy genuine conversation in a welcoming environment.
Our Guest Hostess for the evening will be Barbara Ward, President and CEO of YWCA Dayton. A mission-driven executive and community leader, Barbara is passionate about helping women cultivate the relationships, resources, and confidence needed to lead in business, in community, and in life.
Her leadership extends throughout the Dayton region, including service with the African American Community Fund and the Human Race Theatre Company. She is also a proud graduate of YWCA Dayton’s Sojourn Leadership & Justice Academy.
Hosting this gathering during Domestic Violence Awareness Month carries special meaning. YWCA Dayton and the Dayton Woman’s Club share long histories of creating space for women’s voices, leadership, advocacy, and connection. Barbara believes that when women build authentic relationships and use their influence together, they strengthen businesses, families, and the community as a whole.
Barbara is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and lives in Dayton with her husband, Pastor Joshua Ward, and their three children.
