Join us for our Spring Community Book Read as we honor, remember, and reflect on America’s 250th.
This summer, we’re reading We the Women: The Hidden Heroes Who Shaped America by Norah O’Donnell.
We encourage you to read the book before joining us and come ready to share your questions, observations, favorite passages, or anything that sparked your curiosity. Haven’t finished the book? You’re still welcome to join the conversation!
Led by DWC First Vice President and local author Kim Villalva, this café-style gathering will feature an interactive group discussion rather than a traditional lecture. Kim will guide the conversation with prompts, and participants will have plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, perspectives, and questions with one another.
Admission is free, and advance registration is required so we can plan for seating and lunch. Guests will order lunch from our café menu.
Invite a friend, bring your book group, and come ready to be part of the discussion!
We are open to the general public. Our venue is fully accessible with a ramp entrance.
Your purchase supports our mission of empowering women and strengthening our local community with historic preservation, public engagement, cultural activities, and educational programs.
