Join us for the inaugural Women in Business Social on Thursday, March 19, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, as we celebrate Women’s History Month and begin a new tradition designed to foster genuine connections and shared experience among women who are shaping business, leadership, and community across the Dayton region.
Set within The Dayton Woman’s Club’s historic Victorian mansion, this new quarterly gathering reflects the Club’s long-standing commitment to advancing women and strengthening community—a mission it has carried forward since 1916. The Women in Business Social Initiative brings women in business together in a relaxed, welcoming environment focused on conversation, connection, and community. There are no presentations and no formal agenda—just an easy evening spent with other women doing meaningful work.
The guest hostess for the evening will be Colonel (Ret.) Cassie Barlow, Ph.D., former Commander of the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and President of the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE), who will be part of the conversation throughout the night.
A small number of local organizations will also be joining us for the evening, simply as part of the conversation. Representatives from the Soroptimist Club and the Junior League of Dayton will be in attendance, offering an opportunity for informal connection for those who are curious to learn more—without presentations, pitches, or expectations.
Our venue is fully accessible, with a ramp entrance and accommodations to welcome guests of all abilities.
Your ticket purchase supports our mission of empowering women and strengthening our local community with historic preservation, public engagement, cultural activities, and educational programs.
