Celebrate the Lunar New Year through art, tradition, and creative expression at The Year of the Horse Chinese Brush Painting Workshop.
Led by Dr. Yufeng Wang, professor and award-winning Dayton artist, this guided workshop introduces traditional Chinese ink and wash techniques on rice paper. Rather than focusing on exact visual replication, Chinese Brush Painting emphasizes capturing the spirit and movement of the subject—its energy and soul.
Includes one complimentary drink—wine, beer, or soda. Participants may choose from three different designs to work from during the class. All materials will be provided; no prior experience is required. Come learn, create, and celebrate this rich cultural tradition.
Cancellations are required at least 3 days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after that date.
This workshop will be conducted by Dr. Yufeng Wang, an award-winning artist and professor at Sinclair College.
