Join us for an inspiring evening of art and culture at The Dayton Woman’s Club!
In this relaxed Paint & Sip workshop, guests will explore the expressive tradition of Chinese brush painting as they create their own magnolia or peony composition on delicate rice paper.
Led by Dr. Yufeng Wang, a professor and award-winning Dayton artist, this guided workshop introduces traditional Chinese ink-and-wash techniques. Rather than focusing on exact visual replication, Chinese Brush Painting emphasizes capturing the spirit and movement of the subject—its energy and vitality.
Each participant may choose from several painting patterns designed and outlined by the artist. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is required.
Includes one complimentary drink—wine, beer, or soda. Come learn, create, and enjoy an evening celebrating this rich artistic tradition.
We are open to the general public. Our venue is fully accessible with a ramp entrance.
Cancellations are required at least 3 days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after that date.
This workshop will be conducted by Dr. Yufeng Wang, an award-winning artist and professor at Sinclair College.
