Celebrating 250 Years of America and 110 Years of DWC
Join us for The Liberty Ball, a special fundraising evening benefiting the preservation of the historic Dayton Woman’s Club clubhouse as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and DWC’s 110 years as part of Dayton’s history.
Step back to 1776 for an evening of Colonial-era dancing, music, and merriment in one of Dayton’s historic landmarks. Historical dance instructor Jeanette Watts will call and teach the dances throughout the evening, so no experience is necessary.
Come with a partner, gather a group of friends, or attend on your own and enjoy a lively evening in the beautiful surroundings of the Dayton Woman’s Club. Period attire is welcome and adds to the fun, but certainly isn’t necessary.
Costumes admired, but not required!

Sponsorship opportunities are available at $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, and $5,000, with recognition and event benefits at each level. Gifts of any amount are also welcome.
Optional Afternoon Dance Lesson & Practice
Want a little practice before the Ball? Join Jeanette from 1:00–3:00 pm for an afternoon lesson and learn the dances ahead of the evening festivities.
Dance lesson admission is $30 per person and requires separate registration. The lesson is not included with Liberty Ball admission.
We are open to the general public. Our venue is fully accessible with a ramp entrance.
