Annual Holiday Market & Basement Bazaar

Did you know that our Dayton Woman’s Club Annual Holiday Bazaar goes back to 1992? Started by members, Bob and Marge Neff, we enjoyed a successful bazaar each year bringing in not only fundraising but also many guests to enjoy our Victorian Mansion beautifully decorated for the holidays. During the pandemic and like many businesses and nonprofits, we decided to temporarily close our Bazaar.
This year was our comeback year, and we could not be more thrilled with its success! We changed the name to “Holiday Market and Basement Bazaar” to better reflect what we offered. From November 14-16, we had so many beautiful items for sale and so many guests enjoyed shopping in our house!
The vendors present expressed many positive statements and some even left us donations to use in promoting our community presence of caring and sharing. Our vendors were also grateful to see not only WDTN, Channel 2, create a video promotion on their news Channel on Friday, but also our own PR Team who actively promoted the event on social media, through flyers, and through a live Facebook video on Saturday.
There are countless people to thank for our successful event. Mary Jo, Robin, Margaret, the entire PR Team—Kim, Samantha, Jackie, and Tony; Karen, Eugenia, Barb, Denise, Diane, and so many more who stopped by to volunteer. Whether you helped prepare ahead of time for the event (including the families of our volunteers) or if you came any time that weekend, we are so very grateful for your support, time, and love! It was truly a wonderful time to come together, work and have fun!
